Congratulations Cheerleaders
Congratulations Cheerleaders
To the Editor:
On October 15, I went to the cheerleading competition in Ridgefield to watch my granddaughters and their friends compete. Three granddaughters are in Junior PeeWees, and another is on the Pee Wee squad. Both teams came in first place in the competition. What a superior feat.
I canât begin to tell you how excited and proud this grandmother felt to see them perform so extraordinarily phenomenally. I would also like to thank the very dedicated coaches and their assistants, one of whom is yet another granddaughter of mine. Their hard work, dedication, and unselfishness have certainly paid off.
Last, but not least, the Moms and Dads, after working all day, shuffling kids back and forth to practice. Moms running one way and Dads running another and many late and quick dinners. It sure is a team devotion.
Good luck in Rhode Island in November at the regional competition. I will be there cheering with the rest of the proud moms and dads, grandparents, and families. Love to all of you.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Shepard
