Raffia Bouquets For Fall

Katie Stevenson, artist and program leader, will demonstrate creating blooms from natural cornhusks and raffia on Thursday, November 12, from 1 to 3 pm, in the meeting room of the C.H. Booth Library.

Craft blossoms of varied styles using natural and dyed cornhusks, many shades of raffia paper twist, floral wire, and floral tape. Participants will create enough flowers to make a bouquet or centerpiece for a festive table.

There is a $5 supply fee. Early registration is recommended, as  space is limited. Call the library at 426-4533 or register online at www.chboothlibrary.org.
