The Ethics Of Business And War

Trumbull — David Schmidt, Fairfield University associate professor of business ethics and chairman of the management department at the Dolan School of Business, will be the guest speaker at the March meeting of the American Association of University Women-Bridgeport Area Branch. The program, which is open to the public, will be held at Trumbull Public Library, Quality Street, on Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 pm.

Dr Schmidt will examine the nation’s increased reliance on the use of private security companies for military purposes, especially in the Iraq war, and on the ethical issues related to this reliance.
