Ernest F. Mac Millan

Ernest F. Mac Millan, 87, of 201 Wesley Heights, died November 2, after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Annie R. (Adams) Mac Millan and the father of Gary Mac Millan of Newtown.

Mr Mac Millan was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, October 15, 1912, son of the late Alexander M. and Catherine (MacFarlane) Mac Millan and lived in Nova Scotia until 1950 when he moved to New York. In 1976 he moved to Brooksville, Fla. and in 1985 he moved to Shelton. He was a retired Methodist minister serving the United Methodist for many years. He was a 32nd degree Mason, Mt Herman Lodge #572 in Ellenburg, NY.

In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by another son, Earl Mac Millan, of Hallendale, Fla.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Alexander, Donald and Fraser Mac Millan, and a sister, Margaret Mac Millan.

His funeral was private, at the convenience of the family.

The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, was entrusted with the arrangements.
