To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Ryan Knapp for re-election for the District 2 Legislative Council in Sandy Hook. I have known Ryan for the past seven years as an engineering coworker, working for Macton Corporation in Oxford. Ryan is a great professional to work with, communicates well, and is very innovative and thorough in his approach to engineering. I believe that these qualities have served him well as our current representative. He understands fiduciary responsibility and has our town's best interest in mind while governing. To his credit, he has been a part of controlling our spending, while growing our grand list via economic development by $2.5 million in new tax revenues. Also he has helped our town achieve and maintain a AAA credit rating that has saved us millions in debt service costs. That's why I'm voting to re-elect Ryan on November 7.
