‘Guide To A Green Home’ Talk May 18

Homeowners interested in learning how to have a “green” home, save on fuel costs, and qualify for federal tax credits, are invited to attend the presentation “Guide to a Green Home,” by Brian and Kim Danziger of Danziger Homes. The talk will be Tuesday, May 18, at 7 pm, in the Meeting Room at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

Based on four decades of homebuilding experience, and pioneering work in energy-efficient homebuilding, they will explain both government and industry programs in green building, and the opportunities these programs offer to homeowners.

“Being green is more important than ever in homebuilding,” said Brian Danziger, “but it’s not easy to make sense of all the information out there. We’re presenting some steps homeowners can take in their own homes, or in building a new home, to help the environment and their budgets as well.”

The presentation is free of charge, and refreshments will be served.

For further information, contact Danziger Homes at 203-426-9100. To register for the presentation, go to www.chboothlibrary.org or call the library at 203-426-4533.
