Hospice Memorial Service To Be Held

SOUTHBURY — Hospice At Home, a program of Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut, Inc., will hold its 16th annual Interfaith Memorial Service to mourn the deaths and celebrate the lives of all those special people who were cared for throughout the year. The service, which remembers patients from Southbury, Woodbury, Roxbury, and surrounding towns will be held on Sunday, May 21, at 2 pm at Southbury’s Baptist Church on 114 Roxbury Road (Route 67), Southbury.

Along with the families and friends of the deceased, caregivers from Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut are invited, as well as hospice volunteers, involved clergy, physicians, hospital and nursing home staff. Interested community members are also welcome to attend the service and the reception that will follow. Those who have not had any prior involvement with Hospice at Home are welcome to attend also.
