To the Editor:

One month ago we asked the citizens of Newtown to complete a survey that would provide us insights into the community’s desires for uses of the Fairfield Hills campus. We would like to thank the 1,041 citizens who took the time to give us their opinions. A wide variety of Newtowners participated, representing a broad cross section of the populace.

We are in the process of reviewing and interpreting the results. After our deliberations, we will make final recommendations to the Board of Selectman. (Report date to be reported in The Bee and town website).
