Congratulations And Thanks
Congratulations And Thanks
To the Editor:
I would like to thank the voters of Newtown for caring enough about the future of Newtown to come out and vote November 4. You have spoken and your choice was loud and clear. Herb Rosenthal, Joe Bojonowski, and Bill Brimmer will again be working for your interest another two years. I am confident that these men who have been diligently listening to the residents, working with the various boards and commissions, and getting the advice of both volunteers and paid professionals will continue to work for the best interests of Newtown for another two years.
To all who were elected, a sincere congratulations. Everyone working together can and will make a difference.
To everyone who assisted the Newtown Democratic Team, we could not have achieved what we did this year without all of your assistance. Due to the fact that the limit here is 500 words, it is not possible to list all who made this happen. I would, however, like to say a special thanks to a few. To Phyllis Zimmer and the young ladies in Troop 591, your help in our mailings was tremendous! To the Canine Advocates and Virginia Jess, neither the mailings or the phone calls would have been done on time without your help as well. Mike Daubert, thanks for again providing us with a headquarters location. And to Ham Brosius and John Klopfenstein, Curtiss & Crandon Real Estate, thanks for the use of your offices. To Newtown VFW Post and Commander Ernie Inghram, thank you for graciously offering your meeting room to our supporters and volunteers on Election Day. If you see a VFW member on the street tell them thanks and please do stop by and see the modern facility they have on Tinkerfield Road.
The Democratic Team was supported by over 60 people this year in our effort of mailings, phone calls, and door-to-door canvassing of the town. We were supported by hundreds with their financial contributions. We were young and old, all races and all religions. Thanks again to all and thank you to the residents of Newtown who made this happen.
Sincerely
Mike Kelley
