St Rose Installs Officers

The St Rose of Lima Women’s Club installed a new slate of officers at its June 6 dinner meeting at Mona Lisa Restaurant.

The new officers are Fran Gargano, president; Pam Mulrane, vice president; Kathy Cragin, secretary; and Terry Tortora, treasurer.

The board officers who served for the past year also were honored. Receiving a rose during the ceremony were Kathy Favreau, treasurer; Lourdes Pincus, vice president, Kathy Cragin, secretary, and Fran Gargano, president.

Ms Gargano presented the Rev Robert Weiss, St Rose pastor and club spiritual advisor, with a check for $5,200 for the church’s building campaign as a donation from the combined efforts of the St Rose Women’s Club and the Parish Nurse Ministry.

Renee Baade was named Woman of the Year for her outstanding volunteer efforts on behalf of the Woman’s Club.
