The Canine Training Behavior Services will be offering a summer program in Canine Agility instruction beginning on Wednesday, July 26, at Cassio Kennels in Newtown. Course offerings will include beginner, intermediate and advanced.

Successful completion of a basic obedience course is a pre-requisite for all classes. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to enrollment.

Merry Wells of Pawling, New York will teach the Agility program. Mrs Wells is licensed by the American Kennel Club to judge agility and brings a wealth of experience to her classes. She is an active competitor with her dogs and has been awarded titles at all levels of competition.

Mrs Wells have previously taught for the Mid-Hudson Kennel Club and at the Gardiner Agility Club.

A course in Basic Obedience, too, will be offered with classes also beginning on Wednesday, July 26. This course is designed for those dogs who have not yet had prior instruction in the basic commands of sit, down, stay, come and heel.

Canine Training Behaviors Services is owned by Margaret A. Reed and has been servicing Fairfield County for 16 years.
