Vintage Base Ball Tryouts

The Newtown Sandy Hooks Vintage Base Ball Club, embarking on its eighth season this April, will hold a tryout and scrimmage at McLaughlin Vineyard on Saturday, April 7 at 10 am. The event is open to the public.

The Sandy Hooks play base ball under the rules of the game is it was played during different eras in the 1800s.

Games are played at McLaughlin, as well as at various fields throughout and outside the state throughout the spring and summer.
