NCC Honors Music Program

Seven leaders of the music program at Newtown Congregational Church, members of the Rings of Faith, and the Adult Choir were honored last Sunday morning by the congregation led by the Rev Steven Gordon, senior minister. Recognized were: Mary Andreotta, choir director; Phil Crevier, organist; Lenny Manz, organist emeritus; Carl Lindquist, youth music leader; Gale Whitford and Carole Andrews, bell choir directors; and Darlene Jackson, chairperson of the Music Committee.

Adult Choir members are Dolores and Paul Allen, Carol Benson, Judy Craven, Marty Eastwood, Carol Foss, Ilse Foster, Sharon Goodkowsky, Ms Jackson, Charlotte Kalley, Eugene Marks, Gertrude Nagy, Keith and Skip Roberts, Donald Strait, Lina Williams, and Deborra Zukowski.

Bell choir members are Marilyn Alexander, Miss Andrews, Jan Bennett, Peg Forbell, Ilse Foster, Karen Gordon, Tina Mahoney, and Miss Whitford.

Special recognition was given to Mrs Nagy, who is moving from the area and has been with the Adult Choir for more than 30 years.
