The Newtown Lions Club and the Men’s Fellowship Club of Newtown Congregational Church were great contributors of manpower this year.

Taunton Press and its employees again donated $1,000. The Newtown Lions Club donated $1,750 this year. We acknowledge with thanks the checks and donations of all others.

We raised $8,954.75. This is less than last year, but more than we anticipated due to the weather and economy. Newtown appreciates all your efforts. We wish you all a Very Healthy, Happy and Peaceful New Year.

Very sincerely,

Marie and Dick Sturdevant
