Picture Day With Santa At Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital
RIDGEFIELD — Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital, 30 Old Quarry Road in Ridgefield, is inviting pets and families to start their holiday season with a smile and a picture with Santa. The event will take place on Saturday, December 6, from noon to 3 pm, with a snow date of Sunday, December 7, also from noon to 3 pm.
All proceeds from donations for the photographs will benefit The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary that is being created in Newtown. The sanctuary honors the life of 6-year-old Catherine Violet Hubbard, one of the children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.
The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary will reflect a child’s compassion for all creatures by providing adoptive services for companion animals, refuge for farm animals, and native wildlife rescue and release services.
