After finishing the regular season unbeaten at 13-0, the Newtown Youth Lacrosse Association Junior Girls rolled over the competition in a post-season jamboree and then competed in the Camel Jam at Connecticut College in New London.

In the jamboree, the Juniors defeated Clinton (8-3), East Lyme (7-1), Guilford (10-1) and the Mystic Seals (10-1). In the Camel Jam, tough defense combined with a potent offense were the key. Goals were scored by Lisa Vendel (8), Meghan Bridges (6), Annie Fletcher (5), Caitlin Brophy (4), Kara Brown (4), Kaley Kruger (4), Sam Dinnan (2), Steph Suhoza and Morgan Schick. Suhoza, Schick, Meghan Rockwell, and Rachel Fatse anchored the defense. Nicole Waterhouse stopped 12 shots in goal.
