Tanya Sokolowski To Leonard LaBonia

John and Christine Sokolowski of Southbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Tanya Christine Sokolowski, to Leonard Anthony LaBonia, son of Leonard and Susan LaBonia of North Haven.

The future bride graduated from Pomperaug High School in 1991, Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor of business administration/marketing, and the University of Bridgeport with a master of science in elementary education. She is a teacher at Middle Gate Elementary School in Newtown.

The future groom graduated from North Haven High School in 1991 and Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor of science in justice and law administration. He is currently studying for a master’s degree at Western. He is a police officer in Danbury.

A June wedding is planned at St Peter Church in Danbury. The reception will be held at the Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield.
