Kirk Singers To Perform In Concert

BROOKFIELD –– The Kirk Singers, a 20-voice youth choir from Grand Rapids, Mich., will perform in concert at Valley Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 16, at 7:30 pm. Composed of high school students, grades nine through 12, the choir will sing at the church as part of a tour of New England and Ontario, Canada.

The Kirk Singers is one of nine musical ensembles at Westminister Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids. The singers sing monthly in worship services and tour a different region of North America each June. This year marks their third tour of New England over the past 30 years. Their program features a wide variety of sacred music, from Mozart to contemporary. Pieces for soloists and men’s and women’s ensembles will be interspersed with anthems for full choir.

Valley Presbyterian Church is at 21 West Whisconier Road in Brookfield. The concert is free and all are invited. For more information, call the church office at 775-2824.
