Lymphoma Seminar At Danbury Hospital

DANBURY — The Fairfield County Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in collaboration with Danbury Hospital, Ann’s Place, Home of I Can, and the American Cancer Society, will be presenting a seminar entitled “Advances in Lymphoma Treatment” on Wednesday, September 12, as part of the “Meet the Doctor” series. This educational program will take place from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Praxair Cancer Center Conference Room at Danbury Hospital.

Guest speaker Dr Vincent Rella of Danbury Hospital will provide up-to-date information to patients, friends, and family members concerning lymphoma. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Lymphoma is a cancer of the blood that will strike an estimated 62,500 Americans each year. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest private organization dedicated to finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and Hodgkin’s disease, and to improving the quality of life for patients and their families.
