Emilie L. Harasymczuk, 90, of Newtown died October 18, at Masonicare at Newtown. She was born in Fairfield, October 9, 1921, a daughter of Emilie (Gunter) and Louis Harasymczuk.

Ms Harasymczuk was raised and educated in Newtown. She was a longtime employee of Heili-Coil of Danbury and later worked in the bakery at Stop & Shop in Newtown. Ms Harasymczuk was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church.

Survivors include a brother, John Harasymczuk of Halstead, Penn.; a sister, Mary Sakales of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Friday October 21, at 1 pm. Interment in St Rose Cemetery will be private. Calling hours were scheduled for Friday, October 21, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
