Eighth Annual Living With

Grief Teleconference

DANBURY — The Hospice Foundation of America’s eighth annual living with grief teleconference, “Caregiving and Loss: Family Needs, Professional Responses,” will be held on Wednesday, April 18, from 1 to 4:30 pm at the John Creasy Auditorium at Danbury Hospital.

The free conference is a live-via-satellite video teleconference that will examine ways that professionals can better understand and respond to the needs of family caregivers who must respond to the challenges of caregiving, make critical end-of-life decisions, and cope with grief.

The annual program, sponsored by more than 2,000 organizations nationwide, draws an audience of 150,000 people nationally.

The program will be moderated by Cokie Roberts of ABC News and will feature a panel of experts, with a special message from former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. Pre-registration is required. For more information or to attend, contact Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut at 797-1685, extension 33, or the New Milford Visiting Nurse Hospice, Inc., at 860-354-2216.
