High School PTSA Slates Lecture On Bullying
The Newtown High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will hold a lecture to address the subject of bullying on Tuesday, January 24, at 7:30 pm, in the lecture hall. Assistant Superintendent Alice Jackson will be the speaker.
The PTSA will host a second meeting in February (the date for this meeting has not yet been decided) where high school principal Arlene Gottesman will report the results of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), which were recently released. During that meeting Ms Gottesman will address the high school space needs. This meeting is open to the public and parents of children in younger grades are encouraged to attend.
