Dali Nicola Couch Dwy

Dali Nicola Couch Dwy, 90, of Loveland, Colo., died January 7 at Good Samaritan Village.

She was born on January 8, 1913 in New Milford to Frank and Petronilla (Risso) Nicola.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy McGoldrick and husband, David, of Loveland, Colo.; two sisters, Natalie Gifford of Newtown and Rose Adams of New Milford; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Nicola of New Fairfield, and Anne Nicola and Caroline Couch, both of New Milford; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She graduated from New Milford High School in 1930, and was the first child in her family to graduate from high school.

On June 26, 1933, she married Arthur Couch, who preceded her in death in 1987.

She later married Chester Dwy. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Mrs Dwy was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in New Milford, and an active member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Confraternity of the Rosary of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church most of her adult life.

Mrs Dwy moved to Loveland, Colo., in December 1999.

Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted June 5 at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in New Milford.

Interment will take place at St Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in New Milford.
