Classes At Yoga Center

WOODBURY — The Woodbury Yoga Center is starting a new series of classes. “Foundations of Mediation” and “Hatha Yoga” will be held at 122 West Side Road, Woodbury.

The “Foundations of Meditation” course provides thorough training in the theory and practice of correct meditation. Each class will include a 20-minute meditation. The seven-week program will be held Thursday evenings, October 26 through December 14, from 7 to 8:30 pm, and costs $105. Vin D’Alessio is the instructor.

The Hatha Yoga course will be starting a new series of classes. All classes are 90 minutes; some classes also include 20 minutes of meditation. Most classes are geared for beginners, with some for more advanced practitioners. Classes begin on the following dates and run for 7 weeks: October 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, November 3, 4, with classes being held every day of the week with items ranging from 6:30 am to 7:45 pm with three to four class times per day to choose from. Students may sign up for one or more class times within the 7-week series. Classes are $85.
