Playgroup For Toddlers, Caregivers Forming

SOUTHBURY — Registration is now being accepted for Babies & Bagels, an established playgroup for babies and their caregivers. Babies & Bagels is open to all babies, from newborns to age 2, along with a parent or caregiver.

The group will meet on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11, beginning on September 24. The fall session runs through December 10. The program fee is $30. Babies & Bagels offers a fun opportunity for babies and caregivers to socialize and meet new friends. There are age-appropriate toys in the meeting room.

Caregivers are asked to bring their own baby snacks.

Spaces are also available in the fall session of Mom & Tot, an introductory preschool experience for 2-year-olds and their parents/caregivers in a small group setting.

Each class explores a new theme and includes crafts, cooking, music and movement, stories and snack. This class will meet on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 beginning September 20.

Babies & Bagels and Mom & Tot are early childhood education programs of the JCC of Western CT and are sponsored by Jewish Communities of Western CT at 444 Main Street North. Registration is limited and advance registration is required.
