Bravo To ‘Show Boat’ Cast And Crew

To the Editor:

Bravo to the multitalented cast and crew (stage managers, costumers, hair and makeup artists, musicians, and technical crew) of the NHS production of Show Boat. Under less than desirable circumstances, these young adults rose to the occasion and working together were able to pull off a beautiful show.

 Recognizing the wonderful singing, dancing, and acting of these young performers is secondary only to their dedication to this historic musical. While many of their peers decided to “jump ship” so to speak, this group of dedicated children made the decision to honor their commitment and in the process learned a very valuable life lesson. Hard work and perseverance do have their rewards!

Congratulations on a job well done.
