DACS Offers Program On AMD

At its February 1 general meeting, Danbury Area Computer Society will have a presentation from the other chip manufacturer: AMD Advanced Micro Devices, a company with a 30-year experience in designing and manufacturing processors.

A corporate overview will be presented as well as a comparison of AMD vs. its competition, and a description of its product lines with an emphasis on the Athlon. In recent weeks AMD was featured in the news, and DACS brings you the opportunity to find out more about it on February 1 at Danbury Hospital Auditorium at 6.30 pm.
