Regional Hospice Welcomes Newtowner To Board

DANBURY — Regional Hospice recently welcomed Newtown resident Paul Sirois and Ed Ronan of Brookfield as the newest members of the agency’s board of directors.

“I am delighted that Paul and Ed have joined our board,” comments Cynthia Roy Squitieri, executive director. “Their special expertise in finance will be an asset to our Finance Committee and Board of Directors.”

Mr Sirois, a financial advisor, is an active member of several local boards, including Danbury Hospital Development Fund Associate Board of Directors, The Ives Concert Park, and the C.H. Booth Library in Newtown.

“I find myself being an easy advocate for Regional Hospice,” said Mr Sirois, who joined the board to broaden his volunteer experience. “Attending a weekly clinical team meeting was a powerful experience,” he explains.

Mr Ronan is a CPA and co-founder of the Danbury firm Actis-Grande Ronan & Company. He has been an active member of the Danbury Chamber of Commerce and encourages his employees to volunteer in the community.

“As a local business we try to be good citizens. We are here everyday and have a stake in the community,” says Ronan.
