Gottfried Show Relocated

STRATFORD — The New York Post has described a Gilbert Gottfried performance as “a tour de force performance by an imaginative comic artist.” Local audiences will have the opportunity to decide for themselves if the Post is correct in assessing Gottfried’s comedic talent when, on Saturday, November 13, the star of stage, film and TV — and comedian — will take the Treehouse stage for a night of comedy.

Gilbert Gottfried is scheduled to perform at 9 pm, at The Savin Rock Roasting Company, 946 Ferry Boulevard. Please note this is a change in location for this show, which was originally planned for Derby. Tickets for the original location will still be honored.

Gilbert’s comedy career spans decades. He jumped onto the national comedy scene as a Saturday Night Live cast member replacement back in 1980. That didn’t last long but led to numerous appearances including roles in the films Beverly Hills Cop II, The Adventures of Ford Fairlaine and The Aristocrats, a hosting gig for USA’s “Up All Night,” and an ongoing role as the Aflac duck.

Darren Rivera, who was runner-up in Funniest Comic in Connecticut Contest 2, and Vinnie Nardiello, who plays comedy clubs up and down the East Coast, will each offer opening sets.
