The Night

To the Editor:

The third annual Light the Walk took place at WestConn’s Downtown Campus. This walk is part of a nationwide fund raiser for the Leukemia, Lymphoma Society. It was another success.

Thank you to Berkshire Motors, Carminuccio’s Pizza, Taunton Wine & Liquors, Compass Capital Management of Southbury, Honan’s Funeral Home, The Ice Cream Shop, St Rose of Lima Church, Gary of Newtown Car Care, Gregg Simon & Carl Strait of the Newtown High School and of course, The Newtown Bee.

And to the Newtowners who participated and raised donations to find a cure for blood related cancers.

It’s true, it is “Nicer in Newtown.”
