CT Poetry Society Meeting

DANBURY — The Danbury Area Chapter of Connecticut Poetry Society meets at Danbury Public Library on the third Monday of each month. Its next meeting, therefore, will be on August 18.

The small, informal and supportive group always welcomes newcomers. Attendees are invited to bring original poems to share (copies are preferred), or to just listen in during the critique of other poets.

Meetings begin at 6 and end promptly at 8, when the library closes.

The library is at 170 Main Street, on the corner of West. Future meetings are planned for September 15, October 20 and November 17. Call 790-8073 for additional information.
