Janine Starski and Robert Murdy

Don and Marie Starski of Enfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Janine Starski of Newtown, to Robert Murdy, also of Newtown, the son of Rich and Kathy Murdy of Newtown.

A July  wedding is being planned.

Janine is a 1999 graduate of Enfield High School. She is also a 2003 graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned a bachelor’s in psychology, and a 2006 graduate of Western Connecticut State University, where she earned her master’s in counselor education. She is now employed as a school counselor at Woodland Regional High School in Beacon Falls.

Robert is a member of Newtown High School’s Class of 1999. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2003 with a bachelor’s in history and is now pursuing his master’s at Western Connecticut State University while working as a social studies teacher at The Arch Bridge School in Bethlehem.
