Shutting Off The Microphone

To the Editor:

By shutting off a parent’s microphone during a recent Board of Education meeting, a BOE member betrays BOE methods and processes. Imagine if the BOE had listened and addressed a parent’s grievance in the beginning, the Newtown school system would be $42,000 richer — and the Board of Education better citizens.
