The NYS Talent Show
The NYS Talent Show
To the Editor:
Applause! Applause! Dancers, singers, guitarists, pianists, gymnasts, a jump roper, a drummer, and a magician transformed the Reed Intermediate School into a magical place during Newtown Youth Servicesâ 20th Annual Talent Show last Friday night. Thanks so much to the first-time performers and the longtime ones. Thanks for sharing your talent and your enthusiasm. It was infectious!
Many, many thanks to Kevin Koschel for his continued support, and amazing sound and lighting effects. How many years have you worked on this show, Kevin? This year I would like to thank Kayla Koschel for assisting her Dad! Jonathan Aragones, the âofficialâ NYS photographer, was everywhere that evening recording the event for posterity. How can I begin to thank all the Youth Advisory Board members? Many of them switched their work schedules in order to lend a hand. Great appreciation goes to Ashley Duncan who did a masterful job of emceeing the show and Mike Czarnicki who was the âmikeâ man. Behind the scenes working hard were Tina Hartlett, Gretchen Hoffman, Stephanie Villa, Nicole Bounty, Rachel Fisher, and Cristen Carlin. Special thanks to several other YAB members who assisted with the auditions and dress rehearsal.
Lastly, thanks to the parents and families for the gift of your children! We at Newtown Youth Services look forward to providing opportunities such as the Talent Show for many years to come!
Gratefully,
