First Selectman Pat Llodra surprised Director of Social Services Ann Piccini on Friday, April 12, with flowers and a commendation for 25 years of service to the town of Newtown.

Mrs Llodra noted Ms Paccini's dedication, and thanked her for all her efforts over the last 25 years.

Friday marked 25 years to the date that Ms Piccini began working with the Newtown Department of Social Services.
