New Records

Jeff Heller, Bryan Kotwicki, Kane Kunst, and Matt Fries (not pictured) had a chance last week to leave school just as the record board at the Newtown High pool had been changed, reflecting the damage they had done during the 2000-2001 swim season. Kunst set three new individual records in the 200 freestyle (1:50.37), the 100 butterfly (53.57) and the 500 freestyle (5:02.21) and he teamed with Kotwicki, Heller and Fries to set a new 200 freestyle relay record (1:33.49). Only Kotwicki will be returning to gaze upon the new times as the other three have graduated.
