Join Tom Sharp on a leisurely morning bird walk through Osbornedale State Park in search of the many birds that remain in Connecticut throughout the winter. Learn how to identify birds by their silhouettes and their calls.
This is a great hike for beginners and avid birders alike. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and field guides, however a limited number of each will be available for loan.
The program meets at the Kellogg Environmental Center, 500 Hawthorne Avenue (Route 34). No registration is required. For directions, call 203/734-2513.
