Garner Inmate Charged In Prisoner Assault

State police report that Garner Correctional Institution inmate Anthony Narducci, 32, punched inmate Jason Pangretic, 24, in the head in the high security prison on Nunnawauk Road about 3 pm on August 7.

 State police charged Narducci with third degree assault and with breach of peace. Narducci was scheduled to be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court on August 9.

Narducci is an unsentenced inmate who is being held on $50,000 bail on a charge of criminal violation of a protective order. Pangretic is an unsentenced inmate who is being held on $50,000 bail on a charge of threatening.
