Receptions At KAA

KENT — Kent Art Association will host two receptions for its “KAA Members’ Summer Art Show” this weekend. On Friday, June 22, the KAA Gallery (21 South Main Street/Route 7) will host an opening reception from 5 to 7 pm, and then on Saturday, June 23, an awards reception will run from 2 to 4 pm, with awards to be presented at 3.

The summer show offers paintings in oil, watercolors, pastels, graphics and sculpture in various mediums by local and regional prize-winning artists. There is also a special retrospection presentation of watercolors by Richard Ochs. Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 pm; call 860-927-3989 for additional information.
