Motorcycle DUI
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Richard Jubenville, 36, of Danbury turned himself over to them on November 11 and was charged with driving under the influence and with driving without automotive insurance, police report.
Jubenville was driving a 2003 Harley-Davidson VRSC-A V-Rod motorcycle northward on Hawleyville Road about 11:39 pm August 25, when he lost control of the motorcycle and it slid down onto its left side near the intersection of Hawleyville Road and Currituck Road, police have said.
Jubenville received minor injuries in the accident and was transported to Danbury Hospital to be checked. Jubenville was not wearing a helmet, but was wearing a leather jacket at the time of the August crash, police have said.
Police released Jubenville on $100 bail for a November 30 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Electronic Game
On November 11, a Nintendo Gameboy SP electronic game device and a blue nylon case were found in the rear parking lot at Porcoâs Karate Academy at 113 Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook Center. Police are holding the items for safekeeping and ask the owner to claim them to claim them at the police station.
DUI Arrest
Police said motorist Dawn Eglinton-Beers, 41, of Bethel was driving northward on South Main Street about 10:45 pm November 11 and swerved to the right, striking guardrailing along the northbound road shoulder. Police said they stopped Eglinton-Beers on Sugar Street to investigate.
Eglinton-Beers failed field sobriety testing and was charged with driving under the influence, making a restricted turn, and evading responsibility, police said. Police released her on $140 bail for a November 30 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Vehicular Violations
Police said they saw motorist Andrew Lambo, 18, of 8 Country Squire Road driving in the Newtown High School parking lot and carrying two people in his vehicleâs trunk at about 2:40 pm November 12.
Police stopped Lambo to investigate and charged him with driving with riders outside the vehicle and with driving while under suspension. Lambo posted $100 bail and was released for a November 23 court appearance, police said.
DUI Crash
At about 11 pm on November 12, police received a telephone call alerting them about a vehicle that had gone off Berkshire Road, near Sherman Street. Police went to the scene and found an auto that had been in an accident and had collided with a tree, but was unoccupied.
Police said they then found the motorist involved in the crash running westward on Berkshire Road, away from the crash.
Police stopped the man to investigate, after which they charged motorist David Steel, 34, of Oakville with driving under the influence, failure to drive to the right, possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they had found a smoking pipe with marijuana in the vehicle that had been involved in the accident.
After he posted $100 bail, police released Steel for a November 26 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Subaru Strikes Wall
Motorist Ronald Snoek, 41, of Brookfield, who was driving a 2002 Subaru Impreza eastward near 146 Currituck Road about 8:30 am November 13, hit an icy road patch and lost control of the vehicle, went across the across the westbound lane and struck a stone wall, police said.
Snoek was not injured. Police issued him a written warning for making a restricted turn.
Durango Rollover
Motorist Paulina Roman, 19, of Seymour, was driving a 1999 Dodge Durango sport-utility vehicle westward on Route 34 about 11:20 am November 14, when she lost control of the vehicle, hit some curbing , turned sideways and then tipped over, with the vehicle landing on its side, police said.
Roman received minor injuries in the accident, police said. Police issued her a written warning for making a restricted turn.
Toyota Vs Deer
Motorist Norma Bucko, 47, of Danbury was driving a 2003 Toyota Avalon sedan eastward near 147 Mt Pleasant Road about 11:10 am November 8, when a deer ran into the road and collided with the auto, police said. Bucko was not injured in the mishap, police said.
VW Vs Cadillac
Motorist Sharon Johnston, 50, of 30 Ashford Lane, who was driving a 2002 Cadillac Seville westward on Church Hill Road about 4 pm November 13, stopped for some stopped traffic and was struck from behind by westbound motorist Devonna Middeleer, 17, of 9 Dodgingtown Road, who was driving a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta, police said. There were no injuries. Police issued Middeleer a written warning for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
Bears Hill Road
Motorist Robert Mayer, Jr, 51, of 48 Pine Tree Hill Road, who was driving a pickup truck southward on South Main Street on the afternoon of November 13, made a wide right turn onto westbound Bears Hill Road and collided with motorist David Lewis, Jr, 32, of 9 Bears Hill Road, who was driving a Ford pickup truck eastward on Bears Hill Road, police said.
There were no injuries. Police said they issued Mayer a written warning for a turning violation.
Dodgingtown Collision
Motorist Linnea Hushion, 39, of Shut Road, who was driving an 2003 Nissan Pathfinder on Dodgingtown Road about 10 am November 13, turned into the parking lot at Dodgingtown Market there and collided with a parked, vacant 1990 Mitsubishi Montero, police said. Hushion was not injured. Police issued her a written warning for driving at a speed too fast for conditions.
Four-Vehicle Crash
Police report a four-vehicle accident on Route 302, near its intersection with Drummers Lane, about 8:30 am November 9.
In the eastbound lane of Route 302, a school bus was picking up some schoolchildren, so traffic had stopped in the westbound lane, police said.
Westbound motorist Kevin Walder, 35, of 4 Valley Field Road, who was driving a 1996 Dodge Intrepid, hit the rear end of a stopped 1999 Mercedes-Benz ML-430 sport-utility vehicle driven by Louanne Morris, 39, of 138 Hattertown Road, police said.
That impact pushed the Mercedes into the rear end of a stopped 1993 Toyota Celica driven by Jeffrey Monaco, 30, of North Haven, police said.
That impact pushed the Toyota into the rear end of a stopped 1998 Subaru Legacy driven by Janet Sansevieri, 59, of Southbury, police said.
 There were no injuries. Walder received an infraction ticket for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, according to police.
Mustang DUI
State police said motorist Pierce Wrabel, 34, of Danbury, was driving a 2004 Ford Mustang eastward on Interstate 84 about 1:45 pm November 12, when he lost control of the auto and spun around, striking some guardrailing. State police said they investigated and charged Wrabel with driving under the influence and with reckless driving. Wrabel is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court to answer the charges.
Guardrail Crash
State police said motorist Alan Fletcher, 28, of 14 Lantern Drive, who was driving a 1987 Toyota MR-2 on the Exit 11 on-ramp of Interstate 84 about 9 pm November 12, lost control of the vehicle on a curve and struck some guardrailing. Fletcher was not injured. State police said Fletcher failed to stay in the established lane and failed to carry the minimum amount of automotive insurance.
DUI Charge
Police report that they stopped motorist Jimmy Saltos, 37, of Danbury at about 3 am November 16 on Church Hill Road, after receiving a complaint about his driving.
After investigating, police charged Saltos with driving under the influence, driving without a license, and misuse of marker plates. Police held Saltos on $200 bail for an appearance later that day in Danbury Superior Court.
Cadillac Damaged
The driver of a 1999 Cadillac DeVille sedan, which was parked at the Mona Lisa Restaurant parking lot at 160 South Main Street, noticed at about 4:25 pm Nov 14 that someone had dented in his right front fender while he was away from the vehicle, police said.
Police are seeking information from the public on the identity of the driver who damaged the Cadillac and then left the scene.
Burglary/Trespassing
At about 11:30 am November 15, police responded to a report of a suspicious man in the area of Paugussett Road and Crown View Drive in Sandy Hook. The man was reportedly looking into houses there.
Police said that on arriving, they spotted a man matching a description which was provided to them. The man was walking away from the rear of a home on Crown View Drive, police said.
Police said their investigation revealed that the man had entered a home on Crown View Drive and also a building on Paugussett Road.
Police then charged Patrick M. Souza, 20, of no known address, with third degree burglary, first degree criminal trespassing, and second degree criminal trespassing. Police held Souza on $1,000 bail for a court appearance the next day.
Truck Vs Car
Motorist Fern Paes, 48, of 5 Teachers Ridge Road, who was driving a 2002 Honda Accord southward on South Main Street about 8 am November 15, stopped and signaled to make a left turn onto Ethan Allen Road, police said.
Southbound motorist Dennis Barnett, 42, of Monroe, who was driving a 1988 International dump truck, attempted to avoid colliding with the Honda, but struck it from behind, police said. Paes reported back pain, but refused medical attention, police said. Police issued Barnett an infraction ticket for following too closely.
Manhole Mishap
Motorist John J. Voket, 43, of Waterbury, who was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander eastward on Church Hill Road at about 8:35 pm November 15, encountered an open manhole in the road at Church Hill Roadâs intersection with Commerce Road, so he swerved to the left to avoid it, but the vehicleâs right rear tire hit the obstacle, damaging the tire, rim, and fender, police said. Voket was not injured. There was no enforcement, police said.
Four Violations
Police report that motorist Segundo Matute, 22, of Danbury drove through a stop sign at Mt Pleasant Road on the morning of November 16, so they stopped him to investigate.
Police charged Matute with failure to stop at a stop sign, driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving without automotive insurance.
After posting $500 bail, police released Matute for a November 29 court appearance.
Toddy Hill Road
Motorist William Fredericks, 35, of 7 Pole Bridge Road was driving a 2003 Ford F-350 pickup truck northward on Toddy Hill Rd, near Quarry Ridge, about 5:30 pm Nov 11, when a deer ran into the road and collided with the vehicle, police said. Fredricks was not injured. There was no enforcement.
Queen Street
Police report they stopped motorist Mark Manley, 34, of 265 South Main Street for a speed violation on Queen Street on November 16. After investigating, police charged Manley with traveling too fast and with driving while under suspension. Police released Manley on a promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Nov 26.
Town & Country
Motorist Leslie Regensburger, 44, of 2 Farm Field Ridge Road was driving a 2000 Chrysler Town & Country minivan near 40 Church Hill Road about 6:30 pm November 16, when a deer ran onto the road and collided with the vehicle, police said. Regensburger was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Truck Hits Guardrail
Motorist Dennie Dyess, 40, of 10 Joan Drive, who was driving a 1999 Dodge ram pickup truck northward near 151 Hanover Road about 11:20 pm November 9, lost control of the truck and struck metal guardrailing along the southbound road shoulder, police report.
Dyess was not injured. Dyess received an infraction ticket for a moving violation, police said.
Criminal Trover
Police report they arrested two juveniles on warrants on Nov 16 in connection with a past motor vehicle incident.
Police charged each of the two youths, who are both under age 16, with driving a motor vehicle without a license, using a motor vehicle without the ownerâs permission, and with second degree criminal trover. State law shields the identities of people under age 16 who are charged with crimes.
Police released both youths on promises to appear November 29 in Danbury Juvenile Court.

Breach
Police report that they and Newtown High School administrators investigated an incident in which a student at the school was allegedly overheard threatening another student.
As a result of that investigation, police said they charged Eric Rodriguez, 16, of 10 Wedgewood Court on November 17 with breach of peace. Police said they released Rodriguez into the custody of his parents for a November 30 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Church Hill Accident
Police report an accident on eastbound Church Hill Rd, which occurred about 9:30 pm Nov 12. The collision involved motorist Kyle Leith, 17, of Southbury, who was driving a 2003 Honda CRV, and motorist Nicholas Schork, 18, of 141 Lakeview Terrace, who was driving a 2004 Dodge Neon, police said. There were no injuries in the mishap, which occurred near 65 Church Hill Rd. Police added they issued both motorists written warnings for moving violations.
