Adam            Honychurch

Adam Benjamin Honychurch, 34, formerly of Newtown and Woodbury, died in a tragic car accident in Grand Cayman, British West Indies, on March 6.

Adam was born in Danbury on March 8, 1970, the son of Gail (Winskowicz) Honychurch of Woodbury and Reginald Honychurch of Torrington.

Adam attended Newtown schools and was a graduate of Newtown High School in 1986. He attended the University of Connecticut.

Before moving to Grand Cayman last year, Adam lived in Woodbury where he was the owner of Blue Dog Home Improvements. Adam was an avid New York Yankees and New York Jets fan and loved the UConn Huskies!

In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his sister Susan Zwart and her husband, Fred; two nephews, Benjamin and Andrew Zwart; two nieces, Abagail and Elli Zwart, all of Essex, Mass. He was also survived by his grandparents, Benjamin Winskowicz of Essex, Mass., Lorraine Salsman of Ipswich, Mass., and Helen Honychurch of Trumbull. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Honychurch of Grand Cayman.

Adam leaves many friends in the Newtown area and also in Grand Cayman.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
