Women’s Group To Host Italian Comedy Wedding Dinner

SOUTHBURY — Southbury Women’s Club will present a Dillstar Production of Joey & Maria’s Comedy Italian Wedding, the smash-hit, original interactive dinner theater show, on Saturday, March 26, at The Heritage Hotel. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 pm, followed by the newlyweds’ reception dinner and performance at 7. A silent auction will be ongoing and winners will be announced at 10.

Participants will be guests at an anything-but-traditional Italian wedding.

The scripted comedy is a spoof on a traditional Italian wedding. This long-running production incorporates ad-libbing, audience participation and lots of interaction with the guests.

The plot swirls as dancing, eating and laughing all contribute to the campy climactic wedding celebration.

Tickets are $60, which cover cocktail hour, dinner, dancing and the performance; a cash bar will be open. Table reservations are available.
