Author Program At Brookfield Library: Judith Barr, April 21
BROOKFIELD â Judith Barr, LPC, of Brookfield is preparing a celebration for the release of her new book, Power Abused, Power Healed.
Ms Barr will be at Brookfield Public Library Saturday, April 21, from 3 to 7 pm, to talk about her book.
Ms Barr has had a private practice in Brookfield as a depth psychotherapist since 1975. She holds a masterâs in Counseling and licensure as a Mental Health Counselor. She has published an audio series, The Spoken Word on Behalf of the Feminine, and more than two dozen articles for both professionals and the public. She works with individuals and groups, and leads workshops and consultations.
She also offers training and supervision programs for healing arts professionals.
In Power Abused, Power Healed, Ms Barr has woven weaves fairy tales with current life events and reveals teachings about the misuse and abuse of power â and the vast healing that is possible individually and globally. The stories are set in the context of the healing arts, with windows and doors that lead into other arenas in lives.
