Garden Club Meeting, Tuesday

The Garden Club of Newtown will feature wildflowers as the subject of its October meeting.

The club will meet on Tuesday, October 26, at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street in Newtown. The group will be in the library’s first floor meeting room. Non-members are invited, free of charge.

Members will meet at noon for lunch and a short business meeting. The public program will then follow at 1 pm. Anne Bell will be presenting a slide lecture on the wildflowers of Connecticut and the wildflower garden at the Governor’s Mansion.
