‘Solar Energy: Watts Going On’

WOODBURY — Solar energy — how it works, how it is produced, and how it can be cost effective — will be the focus of a discussion and slide presentation Tuesday, November 17, at 7 pm, at the Emergency Services Building, 25 Quassak Road.

Area resident Carolyn Humphreys of Sunlight Solar Energy will explain how solar technology works, what elements make a site appropriate for solar energy production, and how the current incentives make this form of energy cost-effective.

The event is free. Light refreshments will be served.
