A Vile Statement

(The following letter to Selectman William Furrier has been received for publication.)

Dear Mr Furrier:

If you can publicly state that First Selectman Pat Llodra is a snake, then how does that define your character? You and the other IPN members that think the same should be ashamed of yourselves.

I’m sorry, but you cannot be allowed to retract your vile statement; at least not to my eyes. You continued to say the Republican party, “now in power,” can choose to ignore the wishes of the people or choose otherwise. I believe the election results pretty much states the overwhelming wishes of the Newtown citizens. Even though I do not know you nor have ever met you, I for one am glad you got beat this past Tuesday.
