American Legion Post 202 will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremonies at 10 am on Saturday, May 27, at Veterans Monument, at the intersection of Main Street and Hanover Road.

First Selectman Herbert Rosenthal and State Rep Julia Wasserman are scheduled to speak at the event, which will last approximately 30 minutes. People attending the ceremonies may park along roads in the area.

 The American Legion advises that on Memorial Day the flag should be displayed at half-staff until noon only, and then raised to the top of the staff.
