DANBURY â Danbury Library, 170 Main Street, will provide patrons with a special gift of music during the month of December. Patrons can enjoy the live guitar music of Connecticut resident Gene Pino as he strolls through the main floor of the Library between 3-4 pm each Wednesday in December.
Mr Pinoâs music combines jazz and classical techniques to his interpretations of great songwriters such as George Gershwin and Cole Porter. He has performed for the Pennsylvania Jazz Society and New Jersey Jazz Society and appeared with notable jazz musicians as Maxine Sullivan, Lou Stein, Don Elliot and Anita OâDay.
When you donât have a ruler handy and need to measure something small, use a quarter. A quarter is exactly one inch in diameter.
