Backyard Beasts On Spring Break

BRIDGEPORT — Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is offering “Backyard Beasts: A Spring School Vacation Program” each week day during spring break. The program is for kindergarten and elementary age children and their families, and will feature a different animal each day.

The interactive 45-minute programs – which will meet Monday through Friday, April 17-21, at 2 pm – may include a live animal, animals stories, and animal facts.

The programs are included with regular zoo admission, which is $9 for adults (ages 12 and up), $7 for ages 3 to 11 and senior citizens, and free for anyone under age 3 and CT Zoological Society members. The zoo, at 1875 Noble Avenue, can be reached for additional information at 203-394-6565.
