DMV Offices To Close For Good Friday

WETHERSFIELD — All Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be closed on Friday, April 19, in recognition of the Good Friday holiday and will reopen on Saturday, April 20, at 8 am.

In addition, DMV's licensing partners that process renewals, duplicates and name changes for driver licenses and non-driver ID cards will have the following schedule:

AAA offices in Avon, Cromwell, Enfield, Manchester, Old Saybrook, Southington, Waterford and West Hartford will be open for normal business hours on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20. 

The Milford and North Haven Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union DMV Express offices will also be open for normal business hours on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20. 

The Stamford WorkPlace, Inc., which operates by appointment only, will be closed on Friday, April 19.

The West Haven City Hall office will also be closed on Friday.

Through the website and phone center, customers can find specific information 24 hours a day on a non-driver identification, change of address and change of name.  In addition, details are available regarding vehicle tax questions, records information, forms, emissions, inspections, operator’s licenses, titles and registrations and directions to DMV branch offices and photo license centers.

The website and phone centers also supply details on boating registrations, handicapped driver training, commercial vehicle safety, and instructions on how to file a complaint against a dealer or repairer.
